Theresa Partridge-Asuncion

Theresa “Terry” “Trining” Partridge-Asuncion, 91, of Hilo died May 14, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 24, 1921, in Kohala, she was a homemaker and member of the Pomaikai Senior Citizen.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. May 29 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for an 11 a.m. service. Burial is at Alae Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by sons, Paulino (Sharon) Villanueva of Louisiana, Gerald (Carmen) Asuncion of Hilo, George (Isabel) Asuncion and Rodney (Tina Morita) Asuncion, both of Pahoa, Bernard (Aileen) Asuncion of Papaikou; daughters, Frances (Dennis) Arakaki of Hilo, Lorraine (Boni) Celoza of Honolulu, Priscilla Mandaloniz of Pahoa; hanai sister, Connie Olaes of Oahu; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
